We’ve given you tips on how to design the perfect kitchen when it comes to the layout , but what about the rest of the kitchen? Nowadays, kitchens are so much more than just a place to prepare food.
There are a couple of kitchen trends we’re seeing a lot recently that we can’t get enough of!
The first is integration. Integrating a fridge or dishwasher into the kitchen cabinetry is a great way to give your kitchen a really streamlined look. You don’t necessarily want every day appliances to be a feature, and this is a great way to avoid this.
Another great way to hide every day appliances (and mess) is a butler’s pantry. There are so many ways to fit out a butler’s pantry. It could include a sink, dishwasher and additional storage. You could even put a wine fridge in there if space allowed.
If your renovation doesn’t have the space for a sink or dishwasher, the butler’s pantry can also be a great place to hideaway things like the microwave, kettle and coffee machine, so you can maximise the space you have in the kitchen itself.
Check out our recent Williamstown project for a great example of integration creating a lux look, and our Essendon project has an absolutely swoon-worthy butler’s pantry.
